Pop on the beach - Tents at the sea 2022

The exhibition open to the public Tende al mare will be held on the free beach in front of Piazza Andrea Costa from Tuesday 28 June until Sunday 11 September.

This year the theme chosen is Pop Art and the tents, handcrafted on the model of those once used on the beach before the umbrellas, were made by the students of the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna.

The idea is due to Dario Fo who inaugurated the initiative in 1998.

Since that date, the "tents at the sea" is one of the most popular summer events for the originality of the formula, for the quality of the proposals, and the ability to make art in its various forms interact with the public, starting from a totally informal situation like that of the beach.

There will also be the opportunity to admire some tents of previous editions set up at the other free beaches of Cesenatico.

An auction will also take place during the summer which will support the development of increasingly concrete social projects with the proceeds.
