Alzheimer's Marathon 2022

On Sunday 11 September 2022 the Alzheimer Marathon and the Alzheimer Half Marathon will be held (the latter in honor of Azelio Vicini) which will involve thousands of runners and citizens, as well as moments of sharing on this very delicate issue.

In fact, according to a study it is thought that in Italy in 2040 the diagnoses of Alzheimer's will be 2.5 million and for this reason the donor participants will donate the fundraising completely in the fight against dementia.

This year the Great March for the Rights of People Living with Dementia was also reconfirmed, which will take place from Cesena to Cesenatico, without a competitive purpose but to show solidarity with people with dementia and their families.

The last edition before the pandemic took place in 2019 and more than 4000 people attended it.
